Head of Localisation


Purpose of the Role:

To provide translated products to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translation of short dynamic content.

  • Sports glossary creation.

  • Translate short documents from English to Danish and vice versa, if necessary.

  • Coordinate with Language Group and regional teams to complete localisation projects on time.

  • Learn and apply sports and betting terminology to future translations.

  • Manage translation tasks through translation platform.

  • Terminology research through official Danish websites.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Keeping abreast of professional knowledge by participating in training, maintaining personal networks and studying developments within the industry.

  • Escalating issues to senior management as appropriate.

  • Undertaking other reasonable duties as instructed by senior management.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of Danish language.

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Have knowledge of the latest language trends.

  • Great understanding of localisation and internationalisation issues.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently.

  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused and proactive.

  • Ability to learn new tools/systems quickly.

  • Self-directed - you need to take initiative in tackling large problems head on.

  • Knowledge in IDanish Sports culture, teams, vocabulary, and slang.


Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in translation within the betting industry.

  • Basic knowledge in marketing and digital media planning is desirable.

  • Knowledge in Casino games and their gameplay terms is a plus.

  • Good communication skills in Russian.
